The Academy gives learners the unique opportunity to explore their interests in-depth via streamed video lessons with experienced and independent educators. The Academy allows all learners to take the online classes that they are interested in, while providing a platform for instructors to connect and share their expertise with learners.
As an instructor, you can engage with learners who are interested in learning from your video lessons and earn if a learner purchases your content.
We welcome all experts, professionals, teachers, instructors, and professors from various learning institutions to share their skills, knowledge and experiences on our website. Passionate individuals who are adept with a particular skill or knowledge can join us too!

Yes, the Academy allows you to be both a learner and an instructor simultaneously.
We are looking for instructors who are interested in developing and publishing educational content to help learners, either by teaching them a new skill or improving their current understanding of a subject.
Instructors should preferably be able to:
- Build effective, engaging, and relevant course content
- Break down important concepts for new learners
- Demonstrate their passion and knowledge for the subject(s) they are teaching
Instructors will also be required to display their real name and photo in their profile and listings, and provide a short profile description on their real-life experiences and/or expertise. You can freely edit your profile under the Settings menu.
No. Instructors will not be charged for the educational content that they are uploading to the Academy. A processing fee will only be applied to each successful paid transaction. No charges will be applied to the free lessons you choose to share.
If you would like to be enrolled for courses from other instructors, you will have to purchase the course.
When a learner purchases your content, we will calculate the amount received from the learner upon purchase (“Gross Amount“). From this, CPD subtracts a 5% processing fee and the applicable 7% Goods and Services Taxes to calculate the net amount of the sale (“Net Amount“).
Your revenue share will be 80% of the Net Amount less any applicable deductions, such as learner refunds. If CPD changes this payment rate, CPD will provide you 30 days’ notice via email or by posting a notice through our website.
CPD makes all payments in Singapore dollars (SGD) regardless of the currency with which the sale was made. CPD is not responsible for foreign currency conversion fees, wiring fees, or any other processing fees that may be incurred. Your revenue report will show the sales price in SGD.
You will earn after every successful transaction from your enrolled learner. You will need to request for a withdrawal (minimum amount of $80) in your Academy account in order to be paid. Commissions are paid through PayNow (Singapore users only) or PayPal only. No other payment methods are available. Payment earned will NOT expire even if not withdrawn beyond a certain timeframe.
You can login to your Academy account here and you will be able to see your total earnings, total visits, etc., from your Academy dashboard.
If a learner asks for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any payment on that transaction. The total amount refunded will be reflected in your Academy dashboard.
